The purpose of this page is to outline the Rules & Guidelines that all members, including staff, must abide by when using the NearVanilla Minecraft and/or Discord Server. The NearVanilla Staff Team strongly recommend that you read through the following information thoroughly to ensure a positive and respectful community for everyone.
📕 Zero-Tolerance Policy
NearVanilla follows a strict zero-tolerance policy when it comes to dealing with violations of the rules. As such, failure to comply with our rules will result in an immediate and permanent ban. If you are in doubt, please reach out to any member of the Staff Team for clarification. We take the input of our Community into account in most scenarios, however, the Administration team has the final say on all outcomes.
NearVanilla prioritizes creating a positive and welcoming environment for all members, and it's crucial that everyone treats each other with respect.
- Hate speech, harassment, or discrimination of any kind is strictly prohibited. This includes derogatory language or behavior based on race, gender, or any other characteristic, and will result in an immediate ban from the server. This rule applies to usernames as well.
- Please treat our community in a respectful and considerate manner. Simply put, don’t be a jerk.
- While mature discussions on sensitive topics like real-world events or politics are allowed, insults or harassment stemming from these discussions are not tolerated.
- All builds and farms should be considered private unless marked otherwise.
- Engaging in PVP (Player vs. Player) combat is only allowed with the consent of all parties involved. Unsolicited PVP of any form is against the rules.
- Spamming is not allowed in either our in-game chat or any channels within our Discord server.
- Do not advertise other servers, outside services or products of any kind within either the in-game chat or within our Discord server. The sharing of Personal Twitch Streams or YouTube Channels is allowed in #🤳│shameless-self-promotion.
